Laura G. (Robinholt) Crane, age 77, of Berwick died unexpectedly at home on Sunday morning, March 23, 2014.
Laura was born on Tuesday, December 22, 1936 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Raymond and Jennie (Hamilton) Robinholt. Throughout her younger years, she attended the Berwick area schools. Laura spent many years, caring for her family, and work outside of the home briefly for the former Berwick Cigar Factory. Laura also attended the Salvation Army services in Berwick from time to time.
In 1997, Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce H. Crane, and also by a sister, Sarah Robinholt.
Survivors include two sisters: Edna Robinholt, with whom she resided, and Ethel Kulp of Plymouth; a brother: Harry Robinholt of Hanover Township; several nieces and nephews and a best friend, George Wilson.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening, March 27 from 5 to 6 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will begin on Thursday evening, March 27 at 6 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg with Lt. Kevin Polito, of the Berwick Salvation Army, officiating. Private graveside services will be held at a later time in the Roselawn Cemetery, Berwick.
