Larry L. "P-nut " Krum , age 68, of Bloomsburg, died on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at his home, surrounded by family and under the care of Geisinger Home Hospice. P-nut was a resident of his Scott Township home for 20 years.
P-nut was born on Friday, May 13, 1949 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Lawrence and Bernadine "Deanie" (Miller) Krum. P-nut graduated from the Central Columbia High School in 1967. He expanded his education by attending Penn State Hazleton Campus and earned an Associate Degree.
Most of his working life, P-nut was a self employed Businessman. He was owner of the P-nut Bowl and Valley Toy Distributor. On June 29, 1968, P-nut married his loving wife, the former Susan Hartman.
P-nut was a member of the Shiloh Bible Church, Almedia. He was also a member of the Bloomsburg Elks Lodge #436 B.P.O.E. and the Bloomsburg Moose L.O.O.M #623. P-nut enjoyed spending time watching NFL football, he was an avid NY Giants fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golf, NASCAR and Sprint Car racing.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Susan H.Krum of Bloomsburg; two children: Julie Hock and husband, Darin, of Bloomsburg and Jason L. Krum and wife, Tiffany, of Bloomsburg: four grandchildren: Ellexis L. Young and husband Ryan, Hunter L. Krum, Crue K. Hock, and Cole K. Hock, and a sister: Shirley Shaffer of Bloomsburg.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg. Elks memorial services will be conducted by the Bloomsburg Elks Lodge #436 at 6:00 pm.
Funeral Services will begin on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with his pastor, Rev. Dr. Douglas H. Lyon, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Elan Memorial Park. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Krum family.
