Obituary

L. Bradley Weyhe, age 79, of Millville, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Brad was a resident of his home in Madison Twp. for over 51 years.

He was born on Saturday, May 16, 1942 in Coudersport, PA a son of the late Ira F. and Helen B. (Bradley) Weyhe. Brad graduated from the Olean High School, Olean, NY in 1960. He expanded his education by attending Cedarville College, Cedarville, OH, Houghton College Houghton, NY and St. Bonaventure College, Allegany, NY. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1972. On December 20, 1966, Brad married his loving wife, the former Joann K. Wagner.

For over 50 years, Brad was a self employed electrician until his retirement in 2017. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Bloomsburg serving as a Deacon, a Trustee and a School Board Member. He enjoyed motorcycling, reading about American civil war history, visiting historic sites, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Brad was also preceded in death by a sister, Carol Brack.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Joann K. Weyhe, three children; Michael Bradley Weyhe and wife Jillian of State College, Jill wife of Brian Murphy of Seaford, DE, Matthew R. Weyhe and wife Quinn of Dallas, TX, eight grandchildren, Elliott Weyhe, Henry Weyhe, Hannah Murphy, Elijah Murphy, Molly Murphy, Jude Murphy, Louis Weyhe, Johnny Weyhe, a sister, Margaret wife of James Emery of Grandville, MI, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 3300 Ridge Road, Bloomsburg.

Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 10:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Timothy G. Smith, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Military honors will be provided by a combined VFW and American Legion groups. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 107 West Main at Railroad Streets, Millville is honored to be serving the Weyhe family.
