Kay M. Haas, age 83, of Catawissa, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, peacefully on the morning of Saturday, July 26, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Kay was born on Monday, September 29, 1941 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late William R. Sevison and Dorothy R. (Mensch) LeVan. She graduated from the Columbia County Southern Jointure High School in 1959. On January 28, 1961, Kay married her high school sweetheart and loving husband, Richard L. Haas. She was a Homemaker and an extraordinary mother. Kay was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ in Millgrove. Kay was all about faith, family and friends. Her faith in Christ was evident throughout her life. She looked forward to her daily bible reading and listening to Christian Radio. Her devotion to her husband and her family were obvious to all who knew her. She never failed to make time for any of her three children, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren when they came though her door.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 64.5 years: Richard L. Haas of Catawissa; three children: James L. Haas and wife Jill of Catawissa, Karen S. Tomasetti and husband Perry of Pepperell, MA, Diane M. Maneval and husband Ken of Bloomsburg; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Grace United Church of Christ, Millgrove, 1 Pension St., Catawissa, PA 17820.

Funeral Services will begin on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Grace United Church of Christ with Pastor David Adams and Rev. Wayne Muthler, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Millgrove Cemetery, Catawissa. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Haas family.
