Kathryn E. "Kate" Drumm, age 78, of Lightstreet, died on Friday evening, March 29, 2019, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center. Kate was a resident of her home in Scott Township for over 53 years.

Kate was born on Wednesday, August 14, 1940 in
Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Earl S. Hock and Irene M. (Harris) Baker. Throughout her younger years, she attended the Scott area schools, and later graduated from Central Columbia High School in 1958.

Kate was an avid cook, her joy was to cook for large crowds of the people she loved. Friends and family never left hungry. She enjoyed playing cards with her wonderful friends and sitting on her front porch with her German Shepherd Bella.

In addition to her parents, Kate was also preceded by her husband of 57 years, Richard L. Drumm, who died October 16, 2014 and a brother, Richard Hock.

Survivors include her two children Angela Drumm and partner, Liz Masich of Bloomsburg and Steven Drumm and wife, Patricia, of Lightstreet; two grandcildren Dakota Drumm and wife, Lisa and Cheyenne (Drumm) Franklin and husband, Chrystopher, both of Lightstreet; two great grandchildren: Bentley Franklin and Aidynne Franklin: siblings: Cynthia J. Knorr and husband, Zane, of Buckhorn, Vickie Brobst and husband, Dave, of Bryan, OH, Robert L. Hock and wife, Mabel, of Danville and George "Ed" Hock and wife, Carol of Mifflinville; and also a sister in law: Ann Hock of Bloomsburg.

To honor her wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. The Drumm family will hold a private memorial ceremony at their convenience. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St. Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Drumm family.
