Kathleen "Kathy" A. Mensch, age 67, of Bloomsburg, died on Friday, September 29, 2017. Kathy was a resident of Bloomsburg many years.
Kathy was born on Wednesday, July 5, 1950 in Kulpmont, a daughter of the late Peter, Sr. and Joanne (Rakocy) Kandrot. Kathy graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1968. For over 15 years, she was employed by Columbia County Domestic Relations as a Clerk until her retirement. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, especially her grandsons and great granddaughter.
Survivors include two daughters: Stacy Powlus of Bloomsburg and Kimberly Ray and husband, Christian, of Clearwater, FL; three grandsons: Jonathon Powlus, Landon Ray, and Noah Ray; great granddaughter: Keira Powlus and a brother: Peter F. Kandrot, Jr. and wife, Theresa, of Berwick, PA.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg. Funeral Services will continue at 11 am with Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Mensch family.
