Karen G. Reifendifer, age 70, of Bloomsburg, died on Thursday, September 26, 2019, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Karen was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 6 years.

Born on Sunday, March 13, 1949 in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late George and Marjorie (Search) Kershner.

On June 13, 1992, Karen married her husband, Richard L. Reifendifer Sr. who died May 31, 2011. For over 12 years, Karen was employed by Community Resources for Independence of Lewisburg as a caregiver until her retirement in 2011. She was a member of the Millville American Legion Auxiliary and was a Social Member of Mifflinville Fire Co.

In addition to her parents and husband, Karen was also preceded by 4 siblings, she was the last member of her immediate family.

Survivors include her two daughters: Tracy Babb and husband, Thomas of Bloomsburg and Georgetta Wynings and companion, Mitchel Smith, of Berwick; her significant other: Paul Seitzer of Bloomsburg, and five grandchildren, Stephanie Bitler and husband, Joey, Karen Babb, Mandy Babb, Mason Babb and Flora Moore; eight great grandchildren and a son in law, Jack Wynings.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will continue on Friday, at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Chuck Chamberlain, pastor of Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Elan Memorial Park. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Reifendifer family.
