Karen L. Poust, age 73, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 48 years.

Karen was born on Friday, July 11, 1952 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of Rodney D. and the late Elaine H. (Hartzell) Morgan. She graduated from the Bloomsburg High School. On April 1, 1972, Karen married her loving husband, Larry Poust. For all of her adult life, Karen was a homemaker. Karen was a member of the Bloomsburg Christian Church, Bloomsburg. She was also a active member of the Bloomsburg American Legion Post 273 Ladies Auxiliary. Karen enjoyed spending time reading, going to the casino, being an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and spending time with her grandchildren, especially at their sporting events.

In addition to mother, Karen was also preceded in death by her brother, Timothy M. Morgan.

Survivors include beloved husband of 52 years, Larry Poust of Bloomsburg; father, Rodney D. Morgan of Bloomsburg; two children: Christopher Lee Poust and wife Renea of Orangeville, Jessica Elaine George and husband Jared of Bloomsburg; four grandchildren: Kayla Joyce Poust, Taylor Ann Poust both of Orangeville, Kennedy Marie George, Liam Robert George both of Bloomsburg.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Chuck Chamberlain, Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Poust family.
