Obituary

Kaitlyn Orshal, 32, of Bloomsburg, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, a patient of Geisinger Danville.

Kaitlyn was born on October 18, 1993, to Tammy Orshal and the late Heath Campbell. Raised in Sayre, Kait had a vibrant and outgoing spirit. She loved spending time with friends and found great joy in dancing at Studio J throughout her school years, continuing until her graduation from Sayre High School in 2012.

Kait carried her creativity into adulthood, always eager to try new things. She enjoyed a wide range of crafts, including diamond art, sewing, and crocheting, and she found happiness in experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Her curiosity and creativity were a constant source of joy in her life.

She worked as a server and shift manager at Pizza Hut, where she met the love of her life, Trevor Long. Together, they built a life centered around their greatest joys—their children, Jacob and Luke. Kait later worked at Dollar Tree, where she continued to bring her warmth and kindness to those around her.

Kait cherished the simple moments most. Before her illness, she loved walking through town with Jacob, visiting carnivals, and exploring thrift stores, as well as playing video games and watching TV with Trevor. She will be remembered for her lively spirit, her creativity, and the deep love she had for her family.

Kaitlyn is survived by her beloved fiancé: Trevor Long of Bloomsburg; her children: Jacob J. Long and Luke R. Long; her mother, Tammy Orshal of Athens; her brother, Michael Stiles of Athens; grandmother, Beverly Orshal of Sayre; Trevor’s mother, Brenda Long of Bloomsburg, as well as his aunt, Patricia Campbell, who offered great support to Kait while she was hospitalized, and her husband Warren of Bloomsburg; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her father, Kait was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Orshal; paternal grandparents, Charles and Dixie Campbell; and great-grandparents, Lee and Betty Orshal, and Harold and Leatha McWatters.

A private Celebration of Kaitlyn’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg, is honored to be serving the Orshal family.
