June E. Sneidman, age 98, of Berwick, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019, a resident of the Berwick Retirement Village II.

She was born on Monday, April 18, 1921 in Orangeville, a daughter of the late Arthur H. Broadt and Pearl (Pursel) Broadt-Price. June graduated from the former Scott Twp. High School in 1939. She married her loving husband, William B. Sneidman, who preceded her in death on March 22, 1979. For many years, June was employed as a seamstress in various clothing factories until her retirement. June was a member of the Shiloh Bible Church. She loved spending time with her family, was an amazing baker and cook, and enjoyed traveling, crocheting and sewing.

In addition to her parents, and husband, June was also preceded by in death by three sisters, Dorothy Price, Esther Artley, Pearl Pursel, a brother, Arthur Broadt, and a stepsister, Evelyn Pifer.

Survivors include her daughter, Joyce I. wife of Richard Karns of Berwick, two grandchildren, Jennifer S. wife of Jeffery Banks of Berwick, Philip J. Karns and wife Jessica of Berwick, three great grandchildren, Raven D. Karns, Rhiannon C. Karns, Lillian J. Karns, a great great granddaughter, Aubree N. Wallace, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Dr. Douglas H. Lyon, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Creveling Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Sneidman and Karns families.
