June Marie (Millard) Beaver, age 91, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019, a resident of the Emmanuel Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Danville. June was a resident of Bloomsburg her entire life.
She was born on Sunday, June 26, 1927 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Ranck) Millard. Throughout her younger years, June attended the Bloomsburg area schools. On August 7, 1948, June married her loving husband Charles "Joe" Beaver who preceded her in death on July 30, 1977.
For many years, June was employed by Columbia Silk Mill and Milco Industries, both of Bloomsburg until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of the Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, Bloomsburg. She was an accomplished seamstress for many years, as well as an excellent artist. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and husband June was also preceded by a great grandson Baby Hock, six brothers, Donald Millard, Henry "Hank" Millard, Robert Millard, James Millard, Jack Millard, and Harold Millard, as well as two sisters, Elaine Boyer, and Louise Eagan.
Survivors include her two daughters, Brenda C. wife of Dale Belles of Orangeville, and Bonita K. wife of Clair "Ted" Hock of Bloomsburg, three grandchildren, Clair "TJ" Hock and wife Kristin of West Chester, Brock Belles and wife Nicole of Berwick, Sabrina Hock of Anchorage, AK, four great grandchildren, Tinsley Belles, Talon Belles, Bethany Hock, and Taylor Hock, one brother, Larry Millard of Bloomsburg, and a sister, Joyce wife of Ronald Foust of Bloomsburg, two sisters-in- law, Patsy Millard and Jeannette Millard both of Bloomsburg.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Beaver family.
