Julie Maria Lacey, age 36, of Catherine St. Bloomsburg, died Tuesday, December 13. Julie was born on Saturday, November 1, 1975 in Atlantic City, NJ a daughter of Patricia Lacey Inman of Bloomsburg.
In 1994, Julie graduated from the Bloomsburg High School and continued her education by obtaining a Phlebotomy Degree at Luzerne County Community College in 2008. She was a member of the softball teams at the Bloomsburg High School and Luzerne County Community College. Julie also was a member of the Keystone Assault women's football team of Harrisburg.
She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Parish.
Survivors include her mother and step-father: Patricia and Charles Inman of Bloomsburg; two brothers: Gerard "Jerry" Lacey and wife, Tara of Mt. Carmel and James "Jim" Lacey and wife, Erica, of Bloomsburg; nieces: Alyssa, Cristin, Alyson, Erin and Courtney and nephew" Devin; a cousin with whom she was raised: Lori and many additional Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Friends will be received Sunday, December 18, from 6 to 8 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 19, at 10 am at St. Columba Catholic Church; Third & Iron St. Bloomsburg with Monsignor Robert E. Lawrence as celebrant. Burial will be in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
