Joseph Klemick, age 91, of Elysburg, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 28, 2023, at the Mount Carmel Senior Living Community, Mount Carmel.

He was born on Wednesday, January 6, 1932 in Elysburg, a son of the late Theodore and Anna (Murdick) Klymuick-Payeskie. Joseph faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954. On November 2, 1952, Joseph married his loving wife, the former Barbara A. Linn who preceded him in death on August 26, 2020. He was a tool and die maker as well as a machinist. Joseph loved spending his time with family, as well as hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his son, Kerry Lee Klemick and his wife Janet of Elysburg, four grandchildren, Chelsea Klemick David, Courtney Klemick, Nathan Klemick, Nicole Martinez and her husband D'Metri, and five great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg with military honors provided by the combined VFW and American Legion Honor Guard. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Klemick family.
