Obituary
Joseph W. Kelley, age 73, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday evening, July 16, 2022, at his home with his wife by his side. Joe was a resident of his home in Bloomsburg for over 28 years.
He was born on Friday, December 31, 1948 in Danville, a son of the late Joseph B. and Rose M. (Hickey) Kelley. Joe graduated from the Danville High School in 1967, he expanded his education by attending Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ and Bloomsburg University. On January 26, 1980, Joe married his loving wife, the former Cindy L. Sudol. For over 15 years, he was employed by Merck & Co., Riverside as a Chemical Operator until his retirement in 1999.
In addition to his parents, Joe was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda L. Kelley and a brother-in-law, Ron Miller.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 46 years, Cindy L. Kelley, a son, Curtis L. Ward of Downingtown, PA, two sisters, JoAnn Miller of Danville, Bonita M. Kremer and husband Barry of Danville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Kelley family.
