Obituary

John Charles Richart, age 61, of Sunbury and formerly of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

John was born on Thursday, August 15, 1963, in Bronx, NY, a son of his loving mother Sharon Richart-Long, of Bloomsburg. He graduated from Grand Prairie High School, Grand Prairie, TX in 1982, where he excelled at drawing and wood carving. He was the loudest cheerleader at sporting events and loved the Dallas Cowboys. He was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed cooking, especially French toast.

John was preceded in death by his sister, Wendy Mowery.
