John M. Pehowic, Jr. age 56, of 605 Shuman St., Catawissa, died Friday, September 11 at his home. He was a resident of Shuman St. for more than 20 years and had been in ill health for the past 9 years. John was born July 24, 1953 in Bloomsburg, the only child of the late John M. Pehowic, Sr. and Betty Breech Pehowic of Catawissa. He was a 1971 graduate of the Southern Columbia High School and was also a graduate of Northampton Community College. John was last employed in the Sales Department of Summit Trailers of Summit Station, PA. John was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Washies Fire Co., Sons of the American Legion all of Danville. He was an avid golfer and a diehard fan of Michigan Football. On May 22, 1992, John married Nancy Fetterolf who survives in addition to his mother. Also surviving is a son: Eric Pehowic of Danville, a daughter: Heather M. Crumb, wife of John Crumb, Jr. of Danville, a step-daughter: Vanessa Reinford and her husband, John, of Bloomsburg; a granddaughter: Raven Reinford and a grandson: Gavin Crumb.
