Obituary
John "Jack" Mihalik, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born and raised in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Albert and Dorothy (Pencoski) Mihalik, on October 14, 1946.
Jack attended parochial schools, graduating from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 1964. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1968 and received his law degree from Georgetown University in 1972. Jack began practicing law in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania in 1972. He was an Eagle Scout and chaired the Columbia Montour Council of Boy Scouts Eagle Scout Board of Review for many years.
Jack was predeceased by his wife, Victoria Loeffler Mihalik. He is survived by his son, Dennis Mihalik; his grandchildren, Donovan Mihalik, Deidre Mihalik, and Derek Mihalik; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, Joseph Mihalik; and his sister, Theresa Herb.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Mihalik family.
