John Delos Howell, age 92, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Vintage Knolls, Danville. Delos was a resident of his home in Montour Twp. for over 55 years.

He was born on Saturday, November 10, 1928 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late John and Pauline (Wintersteen) Howell. He graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1947. On March 20, 1949, Delos married his loving wife E. Elaine (Taylor) Howell who preceded him in death on April 17, 2019. For over 60 years, Delos owned Howell's TV, Appliance & Home Furnishings, Bloomsburg until his retirement in 2012.

He was a member of the Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church, where he served on the consistory. Delos was also a member of the Bloomsburg Elks Lodge #436 and the National Federation of Independent Businesses. He enjoyed spending his time golfing, hunting, boating as well as traveling with his wife. He was an avid football fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State.

Survivors include his two beloved children; daughter, Lee Ann wife of Fred DiMaio of Avondale, PA, son, Steven J. Howell and wife Kimberli of Bloomsburg, three grandchildren, Bianca DiMaio wife of James Goerke of Los Angeles, CA, Andrew DiMaio of Avondale, PA, and Justin Howell of Bloomsburg.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church, 592 Dutch Hill Road, Bloomsburg.

Funeral services will begin on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 11:00 am at Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church with Rev. George Zerbe, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Howell family.
