Joel S. Patterson, age 46, of Catherine Street, Bloomsburg, died suddenly on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at his residence. Formerly of Beaver Meadows in Hazleton, Joel resided in Bloomsburg since 2006.
Joel was born on Monday, September 21, 1964 in Garden City, Michigan, a son of Judy Stephens Patterson and her husband, Barry Ray, of Hazleton and Michael Patterson of North Richland Hills, TX. He was a member of the 1982 Graduating Class of Arlington High School in Arlington, TX and also attended the University of Texas in Arlington. He was co-owner of Mojo Juice Inc. in Bloomsburg.
In addition to his mother, Judy Patterson and father, Michael Patterson; a brother: Gregory Patterson and his wife, Penny, of Bloomsburg; a sister: Rebecca Patterson of Salinas, CA; and Maternal Grandmother: Juanita Hero of Clearwater, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 14 at 11 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market Street in Bloomsburg.
