Joanne Kane, age 76, of Bloomsburg, passed away at her home, February 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 18 years.

She was born on Friday, September 20,1946 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Ralph "Boots" and Getha (Welsh) Kraus. She graduated from the Berwick High School. She was a homemaker all her life.

On June 20, 1977, Joanne married her loving husband, Michael Kane formerly of Wellsboro. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Berwick. Joanne enjoyed being a stay at home Mom to three kids and enjoyed her five grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was also preceded by a sister, Kathleen Kulp in May 2019.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 45 years, Michael Kane of Bloomsburg, three children: Danielle Yohn and husband Mark, Jr. of Bloomsburg, Jeffrey Kane and wife Bridget of Williamsport, Gregory Kane and wife Ashley of Turbotville, five grandchildren: Tyler Yohn of Bloomsburg, Jordan Yohn of
Bloomsburg, Averie Kane of Turbotville, Bristol Kane of Turbotville, and Logan Kane of Williamsport.

Private services, at the request of the deceased, will be held at the convenience of the family.
