Joann E. Eldin, age 68, of Bloomsburg, died on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville where she was a patient since the previous Sunday. Joann was a resident of Bloomsburg for 25 years.
Born on Sunday, August 31, 1947 in Detroit Michigan, Joann was a daughter of the late Chester and Marjorie (Bryant) Brady. She graduated from the Warren High School, Detroit MI in 1965 and was employed by Hope Enterprises as an Home Health Aide.
As a member of the Almedia Bible Church, Joann enjoyed visiting with her church family and participating in church Bible studies. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, friends and people she cared for.
In addition to her parents, Joann was also preceded in death by her step mother: Emma Brady, two sisters: Diane Brady and Donna Wroblewski and a brother Robert Brady.
Survivors include a son, Michael J. Siraj Eldin of Bloomsburg; a daughter, Tami Falbe and a son, Terry Falbe both of Michigan; two brothers: James Brady and Kenneth Brady both of Michigan.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening, February 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Monday morning, February 22 at 11 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. in Bloomsburg with her pastor, Rev. Larry Smith, officiating.
Graveside committal services will be in the Creveling Cemetery, Almedia on Wednesday morning February 24 at 10:00 a.m. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Eldin family.
