Joann M. Brown, age 78, of Bloomsburg, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, a patient of the Bloomsburg Care and Rehabilitation Center. Joann was a resident of her home in Scott Twp. for over 25 years and previously resided on Fifth St., Bloomsburg.

She was born on Tuesday, January 12, 1943 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Boyd F. and Letha M. (Engle) Levan. On September 4, 1959, Joann married her loving husband, Kenneth J. Brown, who preceded her in death on December 13, 2020. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Columbia Hill. Joann enjoyed spending her time vacationing in Florida with her family.

Survivors include her two beloved children, Eugene "Butch" Brown and wife Linda of Bloomsburg, Teresa A. wife of Jimmie Deitterick of Bloomsburg, four grandchildren, Melissa wife of Roy Ruckle, Jr. of Orangeville, Andrew Brown of South Williamsport, James Deitterick and wife Meghan of Bloomsburg, Michael Deitterick and wife Alissa of Bloomsburg, six great grandchildren, Timothy Ruckle, Makenna Ruckle, Emilee Ruckle, Lilly Deitterick, Abigail Deitterick, Jasmine Deitterick, a great great grandson, Jaxson Ruckle and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Dutch Hill Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Brown family.
