Joan H. Rhodomoyer, age 81, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, a resident of The Gardens at Millville. She was a resident of her home in Scott Township for over 62 years.

Joan was born on Monday, March 27, 1944, in Wilkes Barre, a daughter of the late James H. and Kathryn (McWilliams) Washburn. She graduated from the Bloomsburg Senior High School in 1962. On January 12, 1962, Joan married her loving husband, Harold Rhodomoyer. She furthered her education after her boys were teenagers, Joan expanded her education by attending Bloomsburg University for LPN License. For over 23 years, Joan was employed by Bloomsburg Hospital as a Nurse until her retirement in 2003. She was a member of the Bloomsburg Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Joan enjoyed spending her time reading mysteries and relaxing at the family cabin prior to her illness.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 63 years, Harold Rhodomoyer of Bloomsburg; two sons: James W. Rhodomoyer and wife Donna of Catawissa, Brian E. Rhodomoyer and wife Peggy of Mifflinville; two grandchildren: Andrea Blass and husband Thomas of Bloomsburg, Tyler S. Rhodomoyer and wife Morgan of Benton; a great grandson: Miles A. Blass of Bloomsburg; a sister, Jacqueline Fisher of Mifflinville; as well as a nephew: Gary Fisher of Berwick.

Private Graveside committal services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Rhodomoyer family.
