Jennie S. "Jen" Beyer, 98, of Bloomsburg died on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Born March 4, 1927, in Mount Carmel she was the daughter of the late Bert and Emily (Nell) Seitzinger. She had been a resident of the Nazareth Memory Center at Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community in Danville since 2023. The family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver and friend, Janet Robinson and also to all her Nazareth caregivers who showed such compassion in taking care of her.

She graduated from Hazleton Area High School in 1944 and McCann School of Business in 1946. Jen worked for the Bell Telephone Company in their Hazelton and Sunbury offices for several years before her marriage to Myron D. Beyer in November 1949.

Jen was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church for over 50 years. In her younger years she enjoyed golfing at Frosty Valley Country Club, playing bridge, reading, gardening, traveling with her husband, and volunteering at civic organizations in the Bloomsburg Area. She loved spending time with her family, especially during the holidays.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Myron D. Beyer, Jr. on August 11, 1998, to whom she was married for 49 years. Jen was an only child and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by two daughters: Susan Keller, husband Rodney, Bloomsburg, and Kathy Stewart, husband Robert, Glenmoore; one son, Robert Beyer, wife Nancy, Bloomsburg; along with six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Beyer family.
