Jean Barrington Dunaway, age 56, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, with her loving family and friends by her side. Jean was a resident of Bloomsburg for over 20 years.
She was born on Wednesday, April 5, 1967 in New York City, New York, a daughter of the late Jean Dunaway. She graduated from the Binghamton High School in 1985. Jean expanded her education by attending Broome Community College in NY. For many years, she was a homemaker. She volunteered at the Head Start Council and local Democratic Party. She loved Lucille Ball, Winnie the Pooh, giraffes, otters, bumble bees, butterflies, and she raised strong independent daughters. She was a kind soul who helped and cared for everyone. She had much love to share.
Survivors include her beloved significant other of 27 years, Thomas Morris, Jr. of Bloomsburg, two daughters: Rhiannon M. Morris and Autumn R. Morris and also a Special "Sister", Julie Woodland.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Dunaway and Morris family.
