James M. Snyder, age 65, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, a patient of the Bloomsburg Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bloomsburg. James was a resident of his home in Montour Twp. for over 10 years.
James was born on Sunday, February 1, 1953 in Bloomsburg, a son of Lida E. (Reichert) Snyder, a guest at Brookdale Nursing Home, Bloomsburg and the late James B. Snyder. He graduated from the Southern Columbia High School in 1972. James was employed by Catawissa Lumber Company as a woodchip operator and forklift driver for many years. He enjoyed spending his time fishing and doing small engine repair.
Survivors include his two children, a daughter, Sarah E. Frazier of Berwick; son, Jeremy J. Snyder of Bloomsburg; his ex wife Sally R. Snyder of Bloomsburg; seven sisters, Donna Herring of Whitehall; Monna wife of Gary Rhoads of Bloomsburg; Barb wife of Rodney Snyder of Catawissa; Eileen wife of Pete Schlieder of Catawissa; Susan wife of Dayne Brophy of Bloomsburg; Becky wife of Mark Schlieder of Catawissa; and Ruthanne wife of Mark Urban of Catawissa.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Snyder family.
