James John Romig, 41, of Bloomsburg, died Sunday evening at his home. A longtime resident of Bloomsburg, James had been dealing with medical complications following a traumatic brain injury.
Born August 9, 1983, in Bloomsburg, he was the son of Diane Romig Lloyd of Chesapeake, Virginia, and the late James K. Romig Jr. He was known as an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting from an early age. James' greatest joy was being a devoted father to his daughters. He loved spending time with his girls and his loyal German Shepherd, Bear.
Surviving in addition to his daughters, Lily Alicia Romig and Magdelena Constance Romig, both at home, their mother Wendi Faust Romig to whom James had been married for 17 years of Millville; his three sisters: Tracy Ray and husband Edward of Aledo, TX, Lisa Byrd and husband Cody of Nescopeck, and Rebecca Braun and husband Josh of Chesapeake, VA; his five nieces: Kristina, Sierra, Jordan, Brittany, and Kahler; one great niece, Aubrey; his Aunt Nancy Keiser and husband John of Summit Hill and his Godmother Patricia Magill of Bloomsburg. He is also preceded in death by his stepfather, Dave Lloyd.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Tim Schoppy, Cornerstone UPC, Selinsgrove, officiating.
