James P. "Jim" Lacey, age 51, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Jim was a resident of Bloomsburg for most of his life.
He was born on Monday, December 3, 1973 in Atlantic City, NJ, a son of Patricia (Lacey) Inman and the late Felix Nunez. Jim attended the Bloomsburg Area Schools. On May 5, 2023, Jim married his loving wife the former, Renee Roeder. He was employed as a general laborer. Jim enjoyed spending his time watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, having a cold Miller Lite, grilling during picnics, parties, and cookouts, and especially being with family.
In addition to his father, Jim was also preceded in death by a sister, Julie M. Lacey, and his stepfather, Charles Inman.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 1 1/2 years, Renee Lacey of Bloomsburg, his mother, Patricia Inman of Bloomsburg, a son, Devin M. Lacey and wife Samantha of Bloomsburg, five daughters, Erin J. Lacey of Berwick, Alyssa N. Lacey and fiancée Jemaine Reid of Berwick, Cristin M. Lacey and partner Sean McCole, Alyson M. Lacey and fiancée Tommy Parker, Courtney C. Lacey, a stepdaughter, Fallon Bardsley, a stepson, Colton Bardsley all of Bloomsburg, nine grandchildren, Trent Lacey, Addison Boysha, Julianna Lacey, Addilyn Boysha, Annamaria Boysha, Theodore McCole, Derrick Lacey, Aaliyah Reid, and Nevaeh Lacey. Jim is also survived by a sister, Felicia Nunez of High Point, NC, a brother, Jerry P. Lacey and wife Tara of Catawissa, a cousin, Lori A. Engler and husband Edward of Mifflinville, an aunt, Jeannie H. Barone and husband Ceaser of Mifflinville, and his mother-in-law, Barbara Roeder of Bloomsburg.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Michael Spagnuolo, pastor of Catawissa Christian Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Lacey family.
