Jack G. Holloway , age 82, of Bloomsburg, died on Thursday, August 2, 2018, a resident of The Gardens at Orangeville. Jack was a resident of his home in South Center for over 54 years.
Jack was born on Wednesday, October 9, 1935 in Beach Haven, a son of the late Dingman and Ethel (Long) Holloway. Throughout his younger years, Jack attended the Berwick area schools. For most of his working career, he was a Truck Driver. He was last employed by Freidman's Express Trucking Co. Jack enjoyed spending his time motorcycle riding, boating, hunting, and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded by his wife, Lavena M. ( Price) Holloway on February 2, 1999.
Survivors include his six children: Cynthia M. Rinker and husband, Franklin, III of Bloomsburg, Lori D. Laubach and husband, Butch, of Bloomsburg, Lisa K. Prosceno and husband, Dwayne, of Bloomsburg, Paula S. Young of Bloomsburg, Douglas P. Holloway and wife, Joann, of Nescopeck, and Dean A. Holloway of Nescopeck, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He was the last member of his immediate family.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Jack will be buried beside his beloved wife in Elan Memorial Park. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Holloway family.
