Henry Morgan, Sr., age 76, of Bloomsburg, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 7, 2014 under the care of his loving wife.
Mr. Morgan was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1938 a son of the late Pierce and Clara (Miller) Morgan of Nescopeck.
Mr. Morgan was a resident of his current home for 42 years and was formerly a resident of Berwick and New Jersey.
During his younger years, Henry attended the Berwick Schools. He was last employed by Continental Pet Industries of Hazleton from 1992 to 2001. He had also worked for Lilly Tulip Cup of Holmdel, NJ for ten years and the former Berwick Forge and Fabricating for several years.
Henry was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witness, Mifflinville.
On April 1, 1961 Henry married the former Carol Bedio. His wife of 53 years survives. Also surviving are two daughters: Carol Diane Lane and husband, Robert, of Maine and Melissa Ann Morgan of New Jersey; one son: Henry Morgan, Jr. of Texas; three grandchildren and a sister: Marian Harmon of Maryland.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by a sister: Anne Laubach and a brother: Pierce Morgan
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1014 West Street, (in Mifflinville), Nescopeck, PA 18635. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Morgan family.
