Obituary
Helen M. Webb, age 88, a resident of Almedia and the Bloomsburg area since 2002, died on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in the Geisinger-Bloomsburg Health Care Center where she was admitted Saturday. Helen was born on Monday, June 15, 1925 in Westerly, Rhode Island, a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Mary (Biondine) Siciliano
After graduating from the Westerly High School in 1943, Helen furthered her education at the former Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing. She became certified as a Registered Nurse in 1946. After a career in Nursing, she expanded her credentials by earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the Rhode Island College in 1968. As a School Nurse and Teacher, Helen was employed by the Westerly Public School System for 24 years. She retired from that position in 1986. Her employment continued for four years following fulltime retirement. She worked at the Pine Lodge Motel.
Survivors include a daughter: Jacquelyn Cook of Bloomsburg, a grandson: Nathan Lambi of Oregon, several great grandchildren and; a brother: Rev. Vincent R. Siciliano, and wife, Polly, of Bloomsburg.
Helen's family will have private funeral services. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St. Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Webb family.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas TX 75231.
