Helen A. Lanzafame, age 74, of Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, died Tuesday, March 2, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. She was a resident of her Scott Township home since 1988 and formerly of Huntington, Long Island.
Helen was born on Tuesday, January 21, 1936 in Centralia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Patrick and Alice (Crowley) Gerrity. She attended the Centralia Area Schools and graduated in 1953 from the Long Island City High School. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.
Surviving is her loving husband and best friend of 53 years, Santo Lanzafame, a daughter: Tracy Lanzafame of Germany; a son: Anthony Lanzafame of Huntington, Long Island; a grandson: Addison Lanzafame; a granddaughter: Haley Lanzafame; and a brother: Jack Gerrity and his wife, Marjorie of East North Port, Long Island.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, March 4 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
