Helen A. Keller, age 96, of Sycamore Lane, Bloomsburg, died Tuesday, August 09, 2011 at her Scott Twp. home surrounded by family.
Mrs. Keller was born on Friday, October 23, 1914 in Stillwater, PA a daughter of the late Clyde Creveling and Ada (Oman) Creveling Sitler.
Helen was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Espy and was last employed by Milco Ind., retiring after 20 years service.
Helen enjoyed her flower gardens, visits from her many friends and
family picnics.
Preceding her in addition to her parents was her husband of 53 years: Raymond L. "Tommy" Keller on November 7, 1991; three brothers: Hurley Creveling, Bruce Creveling and Ralph Creveling and a sister: Ruth E. Crawford.
Surviving Helen are many nieces and nephews, including great nephews in the immediate area: Rick Moyer, Mick Moyer and Craig Moyer. Also surviving are great great and great great great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg and on Friday from 1 to 2 pm. Funeral service will begin at 2pm with her pastor, Susan Rogutski, officiating. Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park.
