Obituary

Harriet S. Everett, age 90, formerly of Stony Brook Circle, Orangeville, died on Friday, October 15, 2010 a resident of Loyalton of Bloomsburg. She was a resident of Loyalton since this past July.
Harriet was born on Sunday, July 4, 1920, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Leroy and Ruth Fields Shoemaker. She was a graduate of the Bloomsburg High School. She was a loving and caring wife and mother to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Everett, on September 9, 1988; a daughter: Susan E. Shultz in May 16, 2010; a sister: Helen McGaw, and a brother Gordon Shoemaker.
Survivors include three grandchildren: Lisa R. Carver and her husband, Christopher, of Bloomsburg; Neil A. Shultz and his fiance, Susi Vieira, of Orangeville; and Amy E. Dent and her husband, Roger, of Orangeville; and also seven great-grandchildren.
A private Graveside Service will be held in Canby Lutheran Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant Township, with Rev. Jennifer Parks-Snyder of Lightstreet United Methodist Church officiating. The Everett family is being assisted by the Allen Funeral Home of 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg.
