Obituary

Harold M. "Skip" Miller, age 68, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday morning, April 5, 2018, at his home under the care of Geisinger Hospice. He was a resident of his Montour Twp. home for over 5 years.
Skip was born on Saturday, March 25, 1950 in Reading, a son of the late Harold M. and Clara Marie (Herb) Miller. He faithfully and honorably served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. On July 27, 2013, Skip married his loving wife the former Cynthia L. Heffner. He served as a Virginia State Trooper, Criminal Investigator in Virginia and a Brinks Security Officer in Houston, TX. For over 20 years, he was a self employed Contractor with his company, One Horse, Inc. Skip was a member of the New Testament Assembly of God Church, Millville. He loved working on cars, collecting and selling Native American artifacts and jewelry, and was well known for volunteering his time and services to AGAPE, Bloomsburg.
In addition to his parents, Skip was also preceded in death by a brother, Neil Miller and a foster brother, John Sweetwood.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 4 years, Cynthia L. Miller of Bloomsburg; a son, Harold M. Miller, Jr. of Winchester, VA; daughter, Tina Miller of Winchester, VA; stepson, Jedediah R. Dunlap and his wife Lindsay of Blandon; a granddaughter, Sophia M. Dunlap and a sister, Rosalie M. wife of Robert Frampton of Duncannon.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the New Testament Assembly of God Church, 2376 State Rte 42 Millville.
Funeral Services will begin on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at the New Testament Assembly of God Church with Rev. David D. Rosenberger, officiating. Military honors will be presented by a combined V.F.W. and American Legion groups. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Miller family.
