Harold E. Long , age 75, of Bloomsburg, died on Saturday, October 28, 2017, a resident of The Gardens at Orangeville. Harold was a resident of his home in Bloomsburg for over 35 years.
Harold was born on Sunday, June 7, 1942 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Carl J. Caesar, Sr. and Ethel (Naomia) Long. Throughout his younger years, Harold attended the Benton area schools.
On March 21, 1982, Harold married his loving wife, Sally A.(Cromley) Long. For over 34 years, Harold has been employed by Autoneum of Bloomsburg. He enjoyed spending his time with his family. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, Harold was also preceded by four brothers: Carl J. Caesar Long, Jr., Zender L. Long, Daniel W. Long, and Harry R. Long.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 35 years: Sally A.Long of Bloomsburg; two children: Tammy A. Allen and husband, Ben of Berwick and Michael J. Raymond of Bloomsburg: 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; seven siblings: William F. Long and wife, Betty, of Danville, Clark E. Long and wife, Linda, of Bloomsburg, Leo C. Long and wife, Gail, of Berwick, Paul K. Long and wife, Sandra, of Stillwater, Beverly A. Banghart of Albany, TX, Helen McMurtie and husband, David, of Berwick, and Joyce J. Sherman and husband, Gregory, of Orangeville.
Funeral Services will begin on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 10:00 am in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy in with Pastor Virginia C. Bailey, Ridge Street United Methodist Chruch, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Long family.
