Hanh Ngoc Nguyen, age 91, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at her home under the care of Compassus Hospice. Hanh was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 15 years.
She was born on Thursday, September 6, 1934 in Thoi Lai, Vietnam, a daughter of the late Chinh Nguyen and Pham Phan. On July 14, 1954, Hanh married her loving husband, Hoa An Bui who preceded her in death on October 20, 2014. Hanh enjoyed spending her time cooking, crafting, and playing piano.
In addition to her parents and husband, Hanh was also preceded in death by three siblings, Diep Ngoc Nguyen, Phan Nghiem Nguyen, and Chieu Nghiem Nguyen.
Survivors include her beloved children; Phuong Xuan Thi Bui and husband Tung Ho of Millville, Hung Bui and wife Naomi Thomas of Bloomsburg, Co Bui and wife Lan Khau of Scranton, Phong Bui and wife Thuy of Olyphant, Trinh Bui and husband Duc Do of Oklahoma City, OK, daughter Trang Bui of Oklahoma City, OK, Hang Bui and husband Minh Luu of Allentown, Suong Bui and husband Thanh Le of Moore, OK, Thao Bui and wife Kay Tran of Lancaster, daughter Tuyen Bui of Carson, CA, nineteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and three siblings; Chau Lien Nguyen, Dung Ngoc Nguyen, Nga Hong Nguyen.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
A funeral service will be held during this time, beginning at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 30, 2026, with Rev. Abraham Ha, St. Anne's Church, Emmaus, officiating.
Friends and family are invited to attend a short service on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home Inc. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Nguyen family.
At the family's request, memorial contributions in Hanh's name are graciously declined.
