H. Arline Drumm, age 97, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020, a resident of The Gardens at Orangeville. Arline was a resident of the Bloomsburg area most of her life.
She was born on Monday, November 6, 1922 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Sterling D. and Hazel M. (Welliver) Carl. Arline graduated from Bloomsburg Area High School.
Most of her working career, Arline was a retail counter clerk. During the 1960's she worked at her family owned meat market. She also operated the lunch bar at the Danville Auto Auction and was employed for several years at Gensemer's Meats on Rt. 11 as well as Siedel's Meat Market in Berwick. Her final employment was at the Candy Barrel of Bloomsburg.
Arline enjoyed spending time crocheting and sewing. She was a member of Lime Ridge United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Arline was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Drumm; two sisters: Dorothy Waltman, and Rosabelle Crossley and a brother, Wilbur S. Carl.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan wife of Robert Seesholtz and two sons: Franklin Drumm and wife, Joan, and James "Jim" Drumm and partner Karen, all of Bloomsburg, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 18, from 4 to 6 at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin at 6 pm on Thursday at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., with Pastor Vince Keister, officiating. Private graveside services will be held in Elan Memorial Park on Friday. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Drumm family.
