Grace Lillian Taylor Kline, age 95, of Millville, died on Monday, April 11, 2016, in her residence at Royalton Manor in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Grace was a resident of Millville for 83 years, then resided near her daughter in Michigan for her remaining 12 years.
Grace was born on Saturday, November 27, 1920 in Millville, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late George S. and Maude G. (Smith) Taylor. Throughout her younger years, Grace Lillian attended the Millville area schools, graduating from Millville High School. She married Eugene P. Kline (known as Taxi), also of Millville, in 1941 and they enjoyed a 63 year marriage. She had a long, successful career as a top salesperson and instructor at Singer Sewing Center in Bloomsburg.
Grace was a longstanding member of the Millville Christian (Disciples of Christ) Church. She was also a member of the Millville Eastern Star and the CWF (Christian Women's Fellowship). She enjoyed spending her time with her family and many friends, reading, sewing, traveling and camping in California and Florida.
In addition to her parents, Grace was also preceded by her husband Eugene and her brothers Frank Taylor, Ralph Taylor and Willis Taylor, and sisters, Lettie Watts Forester and Mable Titman.
Survivors include her sons, Steve and his wife Cay Kline of Tampa, FL, Gary Kline of Ft. Worth, TX, daughter, Nancy and husband Monty Kline of St Joseph, MI as well as 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 18th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 107 W. Main at Railroad Street in Millville.
Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., in Millville with Rev Richard Plocinski officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Millville Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to be serving the Kline family.
