Grace M. Lee, age 95, formerly of West 11th St. Bloomsburg, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 in the Orangeville Nursing and Rehab Center, Orangeville where she had resided for six years.
Born on Wednesday, August 25, 1915 in Bendertown, Fishing Creek Twp., Grace was a daughter of the late Ray and Geraldine Eveland Deittrick. In 1934, she graduated from the former Orangeville High School. For over 50 years, she was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg.
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, J. Murel Lee on October 26, 2000. Also preceding her were two brothers: Gerald Deittrick and Carl Deittrick.
Survivors include a son: James M. Lee and his wife, June, of Bloomsburg; two daughters: Janet Scott and her husband, Don, of Maynardville TN and Joyce Mann and her husband, Theodore Jr., of Cleveland OH; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a brother: Edwin Deittrick of Austin TX.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. in St. James Cemetery, Fishing Creek Twp. with Lay Minister Lisa Mitchell officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Allen Funeral Home of 745 Market at Eighth St. in Bloomsburg.
