Grace M. (Krum) Martin, age 88, of Bloomsburg, died on Friday evening, December 20, 2013 a resident of the Orangeville Health and Rehabilitation Center for two years. Prior, Grace was a resident of Old Berwick Road for 40 years.
Grace was born on Tuesday, August 18, 1925 in Shamokin, a daughter of the late George and Cora (Reeder) Krum. In 1943, Grace completed her education after graduating from the Bloomsburg High School. On April 14, 1951, Grace married her loving husband and best friend, Lloyd M. Martin. For many years, she was a member of the American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary. Grace dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family. She will always be remembered through the many memories shared together. She especially was a proud grand and great-grandmother.
In 1972, Grace was preceded by her sister: Pauline Stevens and a sister, Arlene Olshefsky in 2011. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 62 years, Lloyd M. Martin; three daughters: Nancy Nizzardini, and husband Robert, of Largo, FL; Kathy Martin of Bloomsburg; and Brenda Martin of Carlisle; four grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning, May 31 at 10 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg with Rev. Dr. Gary D. Weaver of the Wesley United Methodist Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Martin family.
