Grace Julia "Judy" Fritz, age 88, of Millville, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, a patient of The Gardens at Millville. She was a resident of Millville for most of her life.

Judy was born on Friday, July 24, 1936 in Wharton Township, a daughter of the late William and Verdie A. (Rhone) Getz. She graduated from the Millville Area School District in 1954. For over 4 years, Judy was employed by Bell Telephone, Philadelphia as a Telephone Operator until she married and became a homemaker. On March 23, 1958, Judy married her loving husband, Harold C. Fritz Jr. who preceded her in death on September 23, 2012.

Judy attended both Rohrsburg Christian Church, Orangeville and Millville Christian Church. She volunteered at the Benton Girl Scouts acting as an assistant and was a member of The Benton Welcome Wagon Club. Judy was an avid reader, she loved sending cards to everyone, baking, making awesome chocolate cake with peanut butter icing and especially loved her family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Judy was also preceded in death by her daughter, Alice Ann Fritz, and two siblings: Elmer Getz and Mae Lou Trainor.

Survivors include her two beloved children: Harold C. "Chet" Fritz III and wife Deborah of Cochranville, William B. Fritz of East Stroudsburg; a grandson, Ryan W. Fritz and wife Aileen of Kennett Square.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Rohrsburg Christian Church, 636 Rohrsburg Road, Orangeville.

Funeral Services will begin on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Rohrsburg Christian Church with Pastor Mike Woolcock, officiating. Private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Fritz family.
