Gloria R. "Pud" (Redline) Ortwine , age 89, of Millville, died on Wednesday afternoon, May 12, 2021, a resident of the Grandview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Danville.

Gloria was born on Saturday, October 31, 1931 in Rohrsburg, a daughter of the late Carl O. and Edna (Albertson) Redline. Throughout her younger years, Gloria attended the Millville area schools, and later graduated from the Millville Jr. Sr. High School with the class of 1949. On August 20, 1949, Gloria married her loving husband, Orville O. "Junior" Ortwine, of Greenwood Township. In addition to raising her three children, Gloria was also employed by Milco Industries as an seamstress. Gloria was a member of the Millville Christian Church and also served on the Millville Garden & Beautification Club for many years.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was also preceded by her beloved husband of over 61 years, Orville O. Ortwine, Jr., who passed on September 27, 2010; also by her son, Robert Ortwine in 2005; and her four sibilings: Helen Honse, Julia Hall, Isabelle Wright and Robert G. Redline.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa O. Snyder, and husband, Denny, of Millville; her son, Orville O. Ortwine, III and wife, Kelly, of Bloomsburg; a granddaughter, Heather Vance and husband, John, of Orangeville; a granddaughter, Hope Snyder Moore and husband, Donnie, of Millville; a grandson, Richard Ortwine and wife, Kristine, of San Diego, CA; a granddaughter, Jillian Saxton; and nine great grandchildren. Gloria was the last member of her immediate family.

Private funeral services will be held at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 107 West Main at Railroad Street in Millville, with family friend, Pastor Michael Woolcock, officiating. Graveside committal services will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Ortwine and Snyder families.
