Gloria J. Adams, age 84, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Sunday morning, January 8, 2023, at the Sunset Ridge Healthcare Center, Bloomsburg.

She was born on Monday, July 11, 1938 in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Bill and Mildred (McNally) Bishop. She graduated from the Olney High School, Philadelphia in 1955. For over 20 years, Gloria was employed by Sears in the Accounts Receivable Department until her retirement on May 31, 1995. She was a wonderful mother who doted on her three children, Karen, Jimmy and Steven. She was an avid reader, volunteering at the senior center for Meals on Wheels and also enjoyed cooking.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy D. Spencer, two husbands, Jim Spencer and Tom Adams, and a sister, Denise Warburton. Survivors include a son, Steven M. Spencer and wife Sandra of Bloomsburg, a daughter, Karen D. Kulha and husband Edward of Berwick; her brother Bill Bishop and wife Sherril of Kokomo, IN, two granddaughters; Lindsey Kulha and Natasha Kulha all of Berwick, a stepson; Thomas Adams and wife Leanne, a stepdaughter; Maryanne O'Gorman and husband James, and a step granddaughter; Abbey O'Gorman.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. Bloomsburg with Rev. Michael Spagnuolo, Catawissa Christian Church, officiating. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, next to her father, her first husband, James and her beloved son, Jimmy.
