Gertrude "Mum-Mum" (Pruyn) Keller, age 92 of 210 B Sunnyside Ave., Bloomsburg passed away October 6, 2008 at The Bloomsburg Hospital where she had been admitted earlier in the day. She had been a Hemlock Twp. resident for twelve years.

Gertrude was born July 16, 1916, in Herkimer, NY, a daughter of the late Merton and Pauline (Bell) Pruyn. She was a 1934 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. Prior to moving to Bloomsburg, she lived in Blair County/Huntingdon region. She was the co-owner of Keller Stationary Office Supply in Huntingdon retiring in 1988.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg, where she was actively involved with the Crusaders Class. She was also a member of Keller Reformed church, Canoe Creek, where she acted as a treasurer. Gertrude was also a lifetime member of Eastern Star.

Gertrude was very involved with her family, enjoying family gatherings, picnics and sharing old memories.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester I. Keller in September, 1987; her brother: Claire Pruyn; her son: Merton R. Keller; and great-great-grandson: Mason R. Bower.

Survivors include two children: Katharine L. Hammaker, Bloomsburg and Louise K. Warner and her husband, Hollace "Bud", Misawa, Japan; her brother: Ronald Pruyn, Cary, NC; nine grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be Friday, October, 10 at 2 P.M. from Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Jay Jones officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 1 P.M. until time of service. Graveside services will be private. The family will provide flowers.
