Fred A. Ball, age 69, of 4 Country Terrace Lane, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 26 at his Main Twp. home. Fred was born on Monday, May 13, 1940 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Luther and Christina (Lyons) Ball. Prior to his retirement, Fred was an avid truck driver most of his working career. He is survived by two sons: Wade A. Ball of Berwick and Luther "Luke" N. Ball of Hetlerville; a daughter: Tracy Fenstemaker and her husband, Jim of Hazleton; five grandchildren: Jimmy and Shawna Fenstemaker and Kasi, Daniel, and Brandon Ball; four sisters: Harriet Mills and her husband Bob of Jersey Shore; Nancy Wright and her husband, Tom, of Newark DE; Ginny Sieg of Millville and Lucille Hilner of Milton. Preceding him in death was a sister: Marylou Andy, and two brothers: Jack Ball and David "Buddy" Ball. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2 at the New Covenant Christian Center, 212 W. 11th Street, Berwick, with his pastor and brother-in-law, Rev. Martin E. Horkey, officiating. Friends and family will be received prior to the time of service. The immediate family will provide flowers.
