Francis A. "Frank" Hall, age 82, of Montour Twp., died Sunday morning, June 22, 2014 in the Orangeville Health and Rehabilitation Center, Orangeville, where he had resided since April.
Frank was born on Tuesday, December 3, 1931 in Williamsport, PA, a son of the late Rexford and Rhoda (Lee) Hall. He completed his education by graduating from the Williamsport High School in 1949. He faithfully served his country during the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy.
For 13 years, Frank worked as a baker with Stroeman Bakery of Williamsport. For over 40 years he was a self employed painter. He was a member of the Catawissa American Legion Post 541 and formerly was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene (McHenry) Hall; two daughters: June Snyder of Pittsburgh and Susan McDermott of Williamsport; 9 grandchildren; a sister: Beverly Irion of Montoursville and a brother: Russell Hall of Williamsport.
Frank was preceded in death by a son: Ralph Hall, a daughter: Ann Neidig; a brother: Larry Hall and a sister: F. Jean Morse.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to be serving the Hall family.
