Florence M. Sneidman, age 97, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday evening, September 4, 2021, at her home in South Centre Township.
Florence was born on Friday, May 16, 1924 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Millard and Anna (Bauman) Ent. Throughout her younger years, Florence attended the Bloomsburg area schools, and later graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1942.
For many years, Florence was employed in the Business Office of the Press Enterprise until her retirement in 1987. Florence was a member of the Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ of Bloomsburg.
In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded by her husband, Howard Sneidman, on August 25, 2008, a sister: Jean Bitler and two brothers: Jack Ent and Donald Ent.
Survivors include her sister, Beverly Lee of Bloomsburg, her step-son: Dale Sneidman of Bloomsburg, her niece, Jayne Buhl and husband, Mark, of Berwick, her nephews: Jon Lee of Bloomsburg and Brian Bitler and wife, Michele, of Northumberland, three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and great neices and nephews..
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Creveling Cemetery with her pastor, Rev. Steven C. Hummel, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Sneidman family.
