Faith Eunson Long, age 88, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Tuesday evening, November 10, 2020, at her home under the care of Geisinger Hospice.

She was born on Saturday, August 27, 1932 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late William and Edna (Fahrney) Eunson. Throughout her younger years, Faith attended the Bloomsburg area schools, and later graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1950. Faith expanded her education by attending Bloomsburg State Teachers' College, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1954.

On June 16, 1956, she married her loving husband, Paul M. Long who preceded her in death on April 25, 1992. Faith's career included teaching at a one room schoolhouse in Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA, 2nd grade at Evans Memorial, and substitute teacher for Bloomsburg Elementary Schools. For over 18 years, Faith was employed by Greenwood Friends School as a teacher and also the Curriculum Coordinator until her retirement in 2000. She was a faithful volunteer through her life with various ministries at Bloomsburg Christian Church including the missions team, adult Sunday School teacher, musical group for teens, and home Bible studies. Faith also began the musical group Faith and Friends, did volunteer work with the Salvation Army and Agape and was involved in the Mental Health Association of CSV. Neighborhood children remember her for her Bible clubs for kids. She had a life long love for gardening, landscaping and cooking for her family and others. Faith was full of wisdom and love and touched many lives, she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents and husband, Faith was also preceded in death by a daughter, Beth Arvin, and a brother, William Eunson.

Survivors include her four beloved children; Faithanne wife of Yung Truong of Sierra Madre, CA, Rachel wife of Mark Frazee of Moline, IL, Katie Long of Bloomsburg, Stephen Long and wife Kathy of Waynesboro, 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two sisters, Elizabeth wife of Don Fay of Florence, KY, Dorothy Eunson of Orlando, FL, a brother, David Eunson and wife Kathy of Erwin, TN, sister in law, Meda Howard of Bloomsburg, sister in law, Gerri Eunson of Media, PA, as well as 17 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will begin on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Bloomsburg Christian Church, 107 Duessen Drive, Bloomsburg with Eric Miller Lead Minister and her son in law, Mark Frazee, officiating. The family requests those attending to wear masks. For those who find they are unable to attend, Livestream is also available through Bloomsburg Christian Church Facebook page. A picture memory walk of Faith's life will be open at the church 1 hour before and 1 hour after the service.
