Esther Marie Vander Wiele, nee Kruizinga, 82, New Holland, Pa, born August 4, 1930 Haledon, New Jersey, was welcomed home by her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 20, 2013. Her devoted husband Kenneth of 62 years was at her side.

After graduating from Eastern Academy she worked as a bank book keeper at the First National Bank of Paterson in Paterson, New Jersey for 2 years. Esther also worked as a book keeper for her husband's trucking and construction company for many years. She taught Sunday school at Hawthorne Gospel Church and was a teacher's aide for Mountainside Christian Academy upon moving to Schroon Lake, NY. Esther was a current member of Coatsville Bible Fellowship in Coatsville, Pa.

Esther had many talents and hobbies. She loved sewing, cross stitching, knitting, crocheting, crafts and travel. Ken and Esther, in their travels, were blessed to visit every US state and Canada. Esther's favorite places to travel were Alaska and Colorado. She also loved to play the piano.

Esther is preceded in death by her parents John and Hester Kruizinga, a daughter in law Anita Vander Wiele and granddaughter Sandra Vander Wiele and a grandson Kenneth Vander Wiele, Jr.

Esther is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Vander Wiele, a sister Ruth (Len) Dykstra Hendersonville, NC, five sons; Kenneth (Sharron) Wellsboro, NY, Keith (Liz) Schroon Lake, Dean (Kathy) Coatsville, Pa, Timothy (Laurie) Schroon Lake, NY, Darryl (Lisa) Schroon Lake, and a daughter Betty (David ) Broadt Bloomsburg Pa. She has 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Her memorial service will be held at Mountainside Bible Chapel, Schroon Lake, NY on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11:00am. A graveside service will follow at the Severence Cemetery.
